Following the game, KSHB 41 Action News sports reporter Aaron Ladd asked Showtime for a reaction to the running joke, and Mahomes responded with a funny, but very relatable, answer.
With a grin, Mahomes replied, “Sometimes it be like that.” “Every now and again, you just have to vomit it up. He’s a little man, but he goes out and catches it, and he’s very quick. As a result, wonderful things generally happen.”
According to CBS Sports, Hill’s 75-yard touchdown was his 10th career score of 70 yards or more, tied for sixth most in league history. Hill can certainly break the record with plenty of space to spare if they keep playing like this.

The Chiefs will have to wait another week for another swarm of red shirts to descend on the stadium. They play the Ravens in a primetime matchup on Sunday night in Baltimore.
